This is the readme for "RESO" patches for Pd which are used to
generate/process component soundfiles of "ab:db:ed:ff:pb:sl"[1] in the
catalogue of the exhibition, "Sounding Spaces - 9 Sound Installations"
(http://www.ntticc.or.jp/Calendar/2003/Sounding_Spaces/index.html) at
ICC (http://www.ntticc.or.jp). Please open the file named "reso.pd"
from Pd.

Spectographic characteristics extracted from six improvisational
acoustic spaces are reassembled by numeric value using *oscillators*
to create sound prototypes. Two channels left and right form feedback
loops while extracted peak frequencies shift bipolarly between
high-pitch and low-pitch directions, each gradually drifting. The
earth's greatest electromagnetic resonance frequency (the Schumann
frequency = 7.83 Hz) and its *higher order components* are added as
bass drone.
